Activated Carbon
Activated carbon is used in the treatment of water including drinking water, groundwater and waste water. Its primary role is to adsorb dissolved organic impurities and eliminate substances affecting odour, taste and colour. It removes over 80 chemicals including herbicides, pesticides, chlorine, nitrates and microplastics as well as heavy metals such as cadmium, copper, lead, nickel and chromium.
